Not all Liberty Walk body kits are the same. The LB-WORKS Land Cruiser 300 widebody kit, shown in the photo gallery, is one of three types offered by the Japanese brand.
Liberty Walk Body Kit Series: What's the Difference?
Liberty Walk produces three body kit styles for different design preferences:
- LB-WORKS: Full widebody kits with bold fender flares and a more aggressive look.
- LB-Performance: Maintains the factory design without widebody parts.
- LB-Nation: Built for Japanese car brands only. It may not include fender flares.
The Land Cruiser 300 belongs to the Station Wagon family—not to be confused with the smaller 250-series Land Cruiser Prado. As of May 2024, the J70 series represents the Heavy Duty variant.
LB-WORKS Land Cruiser 300 Kit: Versions and Prices
The LB-WORKS widebody kit for the Toyota Land Cruiser 300 is available in three trim levels and two material options:
- Materials: Fiberglass (FRP) or Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic (CFRP)
- Trims:
- Light Version:
- Includes: Front bumper, rear bumper, exhaust tips, fender flares
- Price: $7,480 (FRP) or $10,780 (CFRP)
- Full Version:
- Adds: Front grille, rear wing, trunk spoiler
- Price: $9,790 (FRP) or $14,080 (CFRP)
- Premium Version:
- Includes everything above, plus a carbon fiber hood
- Price: $13,090 (FRP) or $19,580 (CFRP)
- Light Version:
The most expensive single part is the carbon fiber hood, priced at $5,500.
Wheels Are Extra — And They're Not Cheap
To match the aggressive widebody look, Liberty Walk offers custom forged wheels:
- 24-inch wheels: $14,850 (set of four)
- 22-inch wheels: $11,650 (set of four)
If you go all out with the Premium kit and 24-inch wheels, the total hits $34,430.
Why You Can't Get It in the U.S.
The Land Cruiser 300 is not sold in the U.S. due to the poor sales of the 200 series and the existence of the Lexus LX 600, which shares the same platform.
In Japan, the base GX trim of the Land Cruiser 300 starts at 5,100,000 yen (about $33,310). This version comes with a 3.4L twin-turbo V6 engine delivering:
- 415 PS (409 hp)
- 650 Nm (479 lb-ft)
Diesel and Naturally Aspirated Versions Also Exist
Japan also offers a 3.3L twin-turbo diesel V6 version of the Land Cruiser 300:
- 309 PS (305 hp)
- 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) from just 1,600 rpm
In other regions like Jordan, the 300 series is available with the older 4.0L V6 (1GR-FE) engine from the Toyota 4Runner:
- 271 PS (267 hp)
- 385 Nm (284 lb-ft)
This version has a 6-speed automatic, unlike the 10-speed unit used in the turbo models.
